Callouts Email Subscription

\# written by eugene gursky | last published at july 31, 2023 \# callouts can be also used to configure repeated email notifications of the callout result/list based on the user configuration to configure email subscription navigate to preferences => manage callouts or list view filters => manage callouts open the needed callout and navigate to follow up email settings on this tab you can enable and configure the follow up emails by indicating the following values "next time to deliver email" date/time since when email sending should be started; "interval number" and “interval unit” are the fields to configure how often the email should be sent, so you can select "1 hours" of “5 days”; configuration checkboxes to select how the list of data should be embedded into the email send report in excel spreadsheet; embed report in email body fields that are to appear on the report as columns as per selected sequence once the configuration fields are completed you need to add “fields to report” in order for the system to know which fields to include to the report as columns, and in which order(driven by sec column) by default the system will allow selecting only among fields available on the model for which the callout is configured for example if your callout is configured to display quotes where credit control is required, you will be able to select only fields available on sales order model once all configured the cron will start picking up the configured follow ups and you will receive the needed email that will look the following way if the callout was configured to be sent as csv attachment it would look the following way main points to note email used as recipient will be callout's user's email; email will be sent even if number of items in the callout equals zero; you will not be able to add some fields to the email report if you don't have access to them due to access rights configuration; note that email settings are kept when duplicating and sharing the callout, along with the fields being included to the report;
