\# written by training admin | last published at november 11, 2022 \# this functionality comes in handy when you do not remember the exact product name / so name / reference etc, but need to find it by some of the words that were in the name / reference / description etc ! please note this functionality is applied to all search fields within the system as an example, let us create several test products with different names 1\) test product; 2\) test product with parameters; 3\) test non stockable product; 4\) product for testing; 5\) new test product let us assume, that you remember only common words 'test product', but would like to find product no 4 'product for testing' let us use the standard search first by typing the keywords 'test product' in the 'product' field you will be provided with the following results only 3 out of 5 products have been found, since during the standard search the system looks only for the products with the exact word sequence (the reason why ‘test non stockable product’ or ‘ product for testing ’ haven't been found), disregarding any other variations (like ‘testing’ ) let us assume, that you do not remember the exact sequence of words (‘ test product’ or ‘ product test’ ?) and use the standard search once more to see if ' product test ' will be found as a result, no matches have been found now let us do the same with the advanced search by typing the same search request with the search operator "@" , so we have @test product and compare the results therefore, all product variations have been found the same results for the search request @product test the amount of words used in search request is unlimited and the sequence does not matter also, we have another search operator "#" , which allows to search records with start name video tutorial on advanced search functionality embedded content from https //www youtube com/embed/halwg1abt6k?\&ab channel=enapps\&wmode=opaque\&rel=0
