written by yaroslav yakymiv | last published at september 25, 2025 overview the system upgrade scheduling feature allows you to plan and manage system upgrades for your erp environment this functionality enables administrators to schedule upgrades at convenient times, track associated tasks, and manage upgrade blocks to prevent conflicts the system supports both automatic and manual upgrades, with safeguards to ensure upgrades are scheduled appropriately according to your business requirements upgrades can include critical fixes, new features, and system improvements that have been tested and approved for deployment the scheduling system ensures these upgrades are deployed in a controlled manner with proper notification to relevant stakeholders accessing the upgrade management system to access the upgrade management features, navigate to support > upgrades viewing scheduled upgrades client the name of your instance for which the upgrade is scheduled planned datetime the scheduled date and time for the upgrade actual datetime the actual completion time (populated after upgrade completion) manual indicates whether the upgrade requires manual intervention state current status of the upgrade (draft, planned, in progress, done, or cancelled) colour coding in the list view helps quickly identify upgrade states blue draft upgrades red planned upgrades green upgrades in progress grey completed upgrades the default view filters out completed and cancelled upgrades to see all upgrades, remove the "hide done & cancelled" filter scheduling an upgrade open the upgrade record click the schedule upgrade button (green calendar icon) in the popup window, select the planned datetime click confirm upgrade important scheduling restrictions upgrades must be scheduled at least 30 minutes in the future upgrades marked as manual can only be scheduled during working hours (07 00 16 30 london time, monday to friday) the system will check for upgrade restrictions and prevent scheduling during blocked periods viewing related tasks to see all tasks associated with an upgrade open the upgrade record click the open tasks button to view all linked support tasks individual tasks can be opened from the upgrade lines by clicking the task opening icon cancelling a scheduled upgrade if an upgrade needs to be cancelled open the upgrade in "planned" state click the cancel button the upgrade will move to "cancelled" state a cancelled upgrade can be reset to draft using the set to draft button if needed
