\# written by kane sterling | last published at april 30, 2024 \# you can create a dashboard that will present a unified set of data of your choice (filters will come handy here) any list of data under any module of your erp system, which you view, can be presented on a dashboard note our native dashboards are limited to pulling data pull data from one module for example, if you want to view the opportunities of the crm module, and you want it to be presented visually in graph rather than a list, and you want it only for last month rather than last year select this and then select the filter and add to dashboard so, you have set up your preferences in filters above, and after that you are ready to turn this data into a dashboard by going to filters and clicking ‘add to dashboards’, naming your dashboard, and it is ready to be viewed the system gives you a default module to save your dashboard to (crm in our example, because that is the module, we have taken the data from), however, you can change it if needed refresh your page and double click on the module (crm in our example) on the main menu to open your dashboard you will see it there! you can add multiple items to this dashboard as per below make the most of your work with dashboards by using drag and drop function items on the dashboard are easily moved when you mouse on them and drag the required ones; extend button ( ) pressing this button will resize the dashboard item; close button ( ) this button will remove this dashboard item; full screen button ( ) – allows to show your dashboard item full screen to exit full screen press ‘esc’ on your computer keyboard also, if you double click on the piece of data on the dashboard, the system will take you straight to the data linked to the graph (where all the details are presented about the item) so, it is also a very good connector between the visual overview (on a dashboard) and detailed information about each particular item (on each particular item’s form view) you can share dashboards with other users by clicking on the ‘distribute’ button => choose the dashboard from the ones this module has => type in the person’s id who you want to share it with
